Ximena Vallejos (1974)
Welcome – and thank you for being here.
I’m Ximena Vallejos, a Chilean-born photography student and engineer living in Murcia, Spain. My journey has led me from the precision of engineering to the fluid, ever-changing world of light, form, and perception.
Currently, I’m immersed in the study and practice of photography. This has become my language; through it, I explore the world and myself — discovering artists who move me, images that speak for themselves, and the infinite ways light touches the ordinary and turns it into something magical.
This portfolio gathers my photographs — from the earliest experiments to recent work — in both black and white and colour, spanning street scenes, landscapes, and moments suspended in time.
Through my work, I seek to tell stories that linger; to evoke sensations, emotions, and fragments of everyday beauty that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
